supporting the troops

by forcing them into life-threatening living conditions and repeatedly ignoring their pleas for repair. these are the people the american government coerces us into venerating. while the public worship of individual military members is just a way to stanch opposition to any invasion, the federal government doesn't do a great job of respecting these same people.
