as a vegan, and a person who tries to think about things, i do not deplore this. yes, it's fucking stupid. but it's not like this is the "bad" strip club and the rest are fine. any kind of male-centric, heteronormative strip club is gonna be problematic, cause to paraphrase the proprietor of this establishment, the meat is on the stage. as for this particular institution, the dude who runs it is a loser. his use of the term "feminazis" should be evidence enough, but before this, he ran a pirate-themed vegan eatery and then briefly tried his hand at a vegan sports bar. not kidding. and the food blows.
as far as vegans reviling this place, it's not like it really has much reflection on veganism. really, is anyone gonna say "oh well vegans are sexist, i'm not gonna be vegan"? no. that will not happen. homeboy is an idiot and an abject failure. this will sink into obscurity, occasionally to be remembered only in passing anecdotes. just another strip club looking for its niche.
