the white house made explicit its refusal to open an email from the environmental protection agency containing its "conclusion that greenhouse gases are pollutants that must be controlled." if you don't acknowledge it, it must go away? this is beyond childish. this is how the fucking government works. incredible.

we live under an economic system with laws to keep it running profitably, not a political system.

it's not just implied. they can do whatever they want. i thought that the military only went after you if you did something really fucked up that got publicized, but i guess that's not even true. i feel embarrassed for having something resembling faith in the military, even if that faith was only in them trying to demonstrate that they did not sanction the most egregious transgressions against the innocent.
